Cars
Parking is restricted to your own parking lot(s). Do not park in another resident's lot. Residents who persistently break these rules re parking in another resident's lot ultimately risk having their access to the car park cancelled and having their car towed away at their expense.
Cars must be contained within the parking lot and should not intrude into common area space.
Electric vehicles (EV) can be catered for. Please contact the Building Manager for details. Owners Corporation approval must be obtained before a charging station is installed. Technology is available to ensure power use is charged to the resident.
Parking lots must be kept clean and not used for storage of any items (including household furniture, boxes and other goods).
Above bonnet storage cabinets are permitted provided they remain within the white lines of the space. Remember under no circumstances may vehicles extend outside the allocated space into common property. If in doubt, please email the Owners Corporation Manager.
Please ensure your vehicle does not leak oil or leave any other residue within the car park that may be inadvertently transferred onto floor coverings within the buildings. The cost to remove the oil from the lot will be forwarded to the owner of the lot. Notice will be served on a resident whose car is leaking oil to clean the car space within a 7-day period. If this is not carried out, the Building Manager will arrange for cleaning and the owner will be charged. A minimum of $100 will be charged for this work.
The Owners Corporation is not responsible for any damage sustained to a resident's vehicle while entering or leaving the car park, or the theft of any vehicle or its contents while parked in the car park.
Motorcycles
Motorcycles are not to be parked on footpaths. Motorcycles must be parked in your private parking space.
Caravans, trucks and trailers
Caravans, trucks and trailers must not be parked in any common property parking spaces (Seisman Place, behind 83-85 Pickles Street and behind 4 Graham Street).
Car Washing Facilities
There are NO car washing facilities at The Park Apartments. Taps located around the complex should not be used for washing cars.
Visitor Parking
Ten (10) visitor spaces are available in Seisman Place. These spaces are not for permanent resident parking. The spaces are small and are not to be used for caravans, boats or trucks. Extensive off street parking is available in Graham Street, Pickles Street and Liardet Street. Residents must not use these spaces for long term parking.
The Park Apartments has an arrangement with the City of Port Phillip to control parking in Seisman Place. Council officers can therefore issue tickets for parking infringements in Seisman Place. Please read the signs for parking restrictions and times as these are strictly enforced. Warning notices are not issued.
The thirteen (13) parking spaces behind 83 and 85 Pickles Street (access via Seisman Place) are for visitors and visiting tradespeople. This area is not for permanent resident parking. It is essential that we provide secure parking for tradesmen undertaking work on resident's apartments. Please remember that work can only be undertaken between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). This area is not to be used for caravan, boat or trailer storage.
